【商品の特徴】
シルバー表面の荒磨き・ヘアライン仕上げ後、いぶし液を用いて表面を酸化させ、その後更に磨きを加え風合いを出しています。

【酸化による黒ずみの除去】
表面にメッキを施していない分、黒ずみは進行しやすい商品です。研磨剤やシルバー磨き用の研磨剤を含むクロスを使用すると表面の酸化膜が取れすぎてしまい、表面に施したヘアラインも摩耗され風合いが損なわれてしまいます。

ヴィンテージ商品本来の風合いを楽しむ場合、研磨剤を含まないクロス、またはTシャツ地の布やティッシュで拭くだけでも十分に黒ずみの除去が可能ですのでお試しください。

(Characteristics & manufacturing process)
After polishing and applying a hairline finish to the silver surface, the surface is oxidized using an oxidizing solution.

(How to maintain)
Since there is no plating on the surface, they are prone to progressively darken. When removing dark spots, using abrasives will remove too much oxide film from the surface, even removing the hairline on the surface from wear and tear, creating an unwanted shine.

To enjoy the original texture of your vintage watch, try using a non-abrasive polishing cloth or even just wiping with a T-shirt or tissue to remove the dark spots.
